Key Features
HDMI HDBaseT Transmitter with Bi-directional IR Control
The Atlona AT-HDTX-IR is the transmitting (TX) unit in an HDBaseT extension system. It takes an HDMI source signal and converts it for reliable, long-distance transmission—up to 70 meters (230 feet)—over a single, convenient CAT cable (CAT5e/6/7) to a compatible HDBaseT receiver (such as an AT-HDRX model).
A key feature of the AT-HDTX-IR is its integrated Bi-directional IR (Infrared) control. This allows the user at the distant display location to use their existing remote control to operate the source device (e.g., Blu-ray player, cable box) located near the transmitter, providing a completely seamless user experience.
