Operate USB devices from up to 330′ away over a single Cat 5e/6 Ethernet cable with the USB 2.0 Over Cat 5e/6 Extender Kit from Atlona. Comprised of both a transmitter and receiver, this extender kit allows you to remotely control equipment for large room video conferencing, lectures, and other situations where traditional USB cables can’t reach. The transmitter features a USB Type-B host connector alongside two USB 2.0 Type-A ports for peripherals such as keyboards and mice. Webcams, speakerphones, touchscreen displays, and more can be connected the receiver’s four USB 2.0 Type-A ports. Each port provides up to 2.5W of power to connected peripherals. Both the transmitter and receiver connect to each other through their RJ45 HDBaseT ports using a Cat 5e or higher Ethernet cable, transferring video, audio, and data up to 280 Mb/s. The micro-USB ports are used to update the firmware. Each compact device is independently powered and may be mounted onto a wall, ceiling, or behind furniture using the included mounting kits.
