Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account, make a purchase, subscribe to communications, contact support, or participate in surveys. This includes name, email, phone, address, and date of birth. We also store account credentials (encrypted), preferences, saved addresses, purchase history, and reviews.
Payment data (e.g. card information) is encrypted and processed by PCI-DSS compliant processors; we do not store full card numbers. For B2B accounts we may collect company name, tax ID, and business contact details.
When you use our site we automatically collect IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring source, and cookie/tracking data to operate and improve the service.
How We Use Information
We use your information to process and fulfill orders, arrange shipping, send confirmations, process payments and refunds, manage returns and warranties, and provide customer support. Order-related use is necessary for the contract and cannot be opted out while an order is active.
With your consent we use data for marketing (emails, offers, product recommendations). You can opt out anytime via the unsubscribe link or account settings. We also use data to improve the site (analytics, navigation, search, fraud prevention).
Your Rights & Protection
We use 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption, PCI-DSS compliant payment processing, and follow ISO 27001–aligned practices. We conduct regular security reviews and staff training.
You have the right to access your data, request a copy (data portability), correct inaccuracies, update your account, and request deletion or restriction of processing. To exercise these rights, use your account settings or contact our Privacy Team; we respond within 30 days. Some data may be retained for legal compliance (e.g. tax records) for up to 7 years.
Data Sharing
We share data only as needed with payment processors (e.g. PayPal), shipping carriers (e.g. FedEx, UPS, USPS), email and analytics providers, and customer-service tools. We do not sell your personal information. We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws and use standard contractual clauses and other safeguards for international transfers. Data may be processed in the US, EU, UK, and Canada.
Regional rights (e.g. GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California, PIPEDA in Canada) include access, portability, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and withdrawal of consent. We do not sell personal information, so there is no “opt-out of sale” required.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). If we discover we have collected such data we will delete it, close the account, and notify a parent if possible. We comply with COPPA and, in the EU, with parental consent requirements for under-16s. Parents may contact privacy@audiovideonation.com with concerns.
Data Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and for 2 years after closure. Transaction records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance. Marketing data is removed when you unsubscribe. We use an automated process to flag, notify (e.g. 30 days before deletion where applicable), and then delete or anonymize data in line with this policy.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email, a notice on the site, and (where relevant) in-app, and we may give about 30 days’ notice for significant changes. The current version is dated February 10, 2026.
